Creating one more milestone in the journey towards financial inclusion, the third branch of Sanghamam was inaugurated at Kozhikode. Mr. T. Arifali, Ameer, JIH Kerala inaugurated the branch, switching on the video clip about Sanghamam in the proud gathering held at Paramount Tower, Kozhikode.
In his inaugural speech, Mr. T. Arifali said that Sanghamam will lead to more awareness about interest-free financial systems in society, and can channelise the financial uprising of the community in a more productive way. As Sanghamam focuses on micro-financing, it can reach out to the economically marginalized sections and uplift them through participatory financing, he added.
Mr. T. K. Hussain, President, Sanghamam presided the meeting. Prof. K. A. Siddiq Hassan, Deputy Ameer, Jama-a-te Islami Hind; Dr. Fazal Gafoor, President, M.E.S; C. N. Vijaya Krishnan, President, Calicut City Service Co-operative Bank; Alok Kumar Sabu, President, Malabar Chamber of Commerce; and Dr. Mohammed Palath, Director, Sanghamam addressed the gathering.
